PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The EMC-PG01U is a high-performance PG (pulse generator) card designed for encoder and pulse input applications. It provides a selectable output voltage of +5V or +12V (±5%), configurable via FSW3, with a maximum output current of 200 mA. The card features a common ground (DCM) for power and signal, ensuring stable operation. It supports encoder input signals via a Line Driver, handling both 1-phase and 2-phase inputs with a maximum input frequency of 300 kHz. Additionally, the U, V, and W terminals allow for encoder signal processing. The PG2 section enables pulse input signals with an Open Collector input of +5V or +24V, supporting 1-phase or 2-phase operation at up to 300 kHz. For output, the PG OUT terminals provide signals with a division frequency function (1 to 255 times), ensuring adaptability. The maximum output voltage for the Line Driver is 5 VDC, with a current limit of 15 mA and a maximum output frequency of 300 kHz. The SG (Signal Ground) is shared with the host controller or PLC, ensuring a common and reliable output signal for seamless integration in industrial automation systems.
