SERIES DESCRIPTION

Delta’s third generation DVP PLCs EX3 series employs the AS series PLC’s 32-bit high-speed processor with a user-friendly programming interface, built-in analog I/O, and multiple communication ports. Compared with the previous generation, the EX3 series upgrades execution performance, expands program capacity, and enhances interoperability.

Min. execution time of basic instruction: 25 ns (adopts 32-bit SoC processor)

  • CANopen Delta mode (ES3 / EX3 models only), support Max. 8 Delta servos and motor s for right / left side expansion without setup of DS301 data exchange table
  • EtherCAT Delta mode (ES3-TEC models only), support Delta servos and Delta motor drives up to 16 without setup of EtherCAT topology and configuration (Note: ES3-TEC firmware version V1.08.30 or later version is able to support the 3rd EtherCAT slave devices) Max. 8 slaves
